One Sunday at UPLB (Late Post)

University of the Philippines - Los Banos was the first choice ever since. Having both parents coming from the prestigious State University, my uncles and grandfather are professors at UPLB. And since it's near our house, it will be more convenient to study there. Well, unfortunately I didn't pass the UPCAT. Hehe.

One Sunday, while I was at home. It was 1st term of my 3rd year, July. I need to take shots for my Computer Art subject. Since UPLB was near and I really like the nature vibe of the campus (like DLSU-STC) I decided to take my camera and do random photo shoots within the campus.

Here are some of my photography.

Oblation, UPLB

Carillion Tower, UPLB

Fertility Tree, UPLB
As what I said in my past blogs, I love taking nature and landscape photography. It gives me the satisfaction that I've captured a landmark that one day I can look back to.

I'm more comfortable in taking still images than people. Maybe that's the area I need to improve in. But never the less, each photography expresses their own story and history.

How do you tell your story?

Somewhere at DLSU-STC

I'm a frustrated photographer. I'm not really that good with my camera. Or don't believe much in my shots. When I shoot I usually prefer "still" objects and candid shots. I still have a lot to learn. I have good friends who're good and they're not shy to share their outputs and insights.

We were having a photo shoot near Locsin park. This is just a random shot but it made me realize that there is more to DLSU-STC and there is more to life. When we feel that we know everything, no.

Life is big to dwell on something sad. Even if we're experiencing hardships in our life. We can be frustrated but at one point in our lives we have to move forward and see the bigger picture. Prove to other people that we can be the better person.

I want to leave a mark or somehow spark a change in other people. I don't know how. I have my flaws but I try to improve myself in ways that I can.

DLSC Fashion Week 2011

I really wanted to join this event, something new for a Ramon. But I'm really not into fashion and stuff and when they were casting models for the runway I have class so I wasn't able to go. Anyway, Lucid was to perform for the event and at the last day of rehearsals we were there at the auditorium for the blocking of steps. Carlo approached me and asked if I can model for men's wear. At first I didn't want to, I was shy and nervous but with a little more convincing I agreed. Hahahaha! So these are some photos.

In disarray

A photo can represent many things.

As for this one, this photo quite express so many things of what is happening to me right now.

Sadness...Lost...Hurt...Self Pity...

For the past days I'm having some time with myself. I've been somewhere to understand myself of what is it that I've done to make someone angry to me like that. And this really tested my patients. People know me to be stubborn and hot headed but I try my best to change my attitude to be patient. And so far, I'm trying my best to be.

But I came to me, slowly the situation is sinking in... Though I won't give up!

Patients, Ramon.

Never give up on anybody. Miracles happen everyday.
