Appreciate

I believe that I've been very blessed with what I have right now. I couldn't ask for more. My family, friends, and a little bit in my academics? Hehe.

It's been one of those hectic weeks.

Last week, the University Student Government Campaign officially started. I've been blessed that I've been part of the Santugon Family. At first I really don't want to get involved with political parties, but Santugon believed in what I can do and believed that I can be someone aside from the Ramon that the people usually see. I've met new friends from DLSU and from STC as well who I didn't thought that I could be close to.

Room to room campaign. Flag bearer!

I have the best set of friends in the world! Vanda boys and girl & MANTHTERTH! Like I said, transferring to DLSC was the best decision that I've made. You guys made me feel at home. =)

And how can I forget my CSB blockmates! This photo was taken last November. Even though we don't get to hang out much, I still feel that I've been part of FMA9 ID 110. You guys made me want to go to school everyday kasi kapag nasa klase, masaya lang tayo lahat .

FMA9 ID 110
Living on a dorm and going home once a week or every two weeks makes me miss my family so much. I always wanted to see my sis and brother grow. I want to be there always for them. I want to let them feel even though I don't speak much at home that I care for them. Especially to my parents. I want to give back.

Lastly, to Lucid Dance Troupe. We'll be having our LAST dance concert on March 22. Lucid is my family at DLSC. I think Lucid is the best thing that happened to my College life. If it wasn't for Lucid I won't be able to appreciate and be grateful. I've been to places that I thought I wouldn't be able to go to, I've experienced workshops and seminars that honed my skills as a dancer and as an individual because of the opportunities Lucid gave me. I was able to lead an organization because my Kuya's and Ate's believed in me.

I'll be forever grateful to this organization. Thank you.

Love at First Sight

When I was in High School (Caritas Don Bosco) I remembered that we did Les Miserables on our 4th year. I don't remember much but the first song of Les Mis was the most familiar song because I played one of the workers. After that I can't remember how the play finished. =))

As the Les Mis movie was delayed almost a month because of the MMFF here in the Philippines. Everyone was psyched to watch the movie version, All-Star Cast of Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Russel Crowe, Amanda Seyfried to name a few, epic trailer and lots of sneak peak to the movie. You just have to be excited to watch it on the big screen!

If you're not appreciative of musicals or not a fan, I think you'll have a hard time understanding but I think anyone would really appreciate it. I hope so! It's a great movie! Well of course there will be flaws but if you just want to enjoy it, you won't bother!

Marius and Cosette

I would not stop saying this. If you believe in love at first sight then Marius and Cosette is the perfect example! After just seeing each other, you just know... it's love! I wonder if it really exist...love at first sight. And there is Eponine, she really loved Marius but he didn't noticed.

I'm hooked with the music. I just want to listen to it! My favorites are "One Day More, "Drink with Me" and "Empty Chairs and Empty Tables".

Even you're not a fan, at least try to watch it! =)

One saturday night

I'm at a friend's house at the moment.

They're all playing Ragnarok Online. I don't have a mouse so I can't join them and I don't feel like playing. I've watched HIMYM past episodes, read all the articles related to the PBA Philippine Cup Finals on Slamonline.ph and the AKTV website.

And to perfectly waste time, I've created...

an ASK.FM account!

Click. Ask. And I'll try to answer :)

I'm back on the list!

Back story:
I almost got into the during 1st term but damn MICECON, I got a 1 (Passing Grade. In La Salle, the highest we can get is a 4, 3.5, 3, 2.5...) and it pulled my grades down and averange 2.8. Sayang. Never the less,  that's I get for the efforts I've put on the subject.

Now:

Yup! I'm back! I got in again! I'm so happy!

With all the struggles and stress that I had for the 2nd term, I'm finally back on the Dean's List! (Well, there's still no official release from the registrar but Denniel computed my grades) It's not easy to handle handle an organization and the 2nd term to be on a full load. Knowing my style and discipline in studying (which is not that good. he-he :P), maka-daan lang sa dean's list, masaya na ako.

I guess, it's just how much effort you put in all of your subjects. Priorities is one, time management is another factor and ask all the help you can get from classmates (legal ah) to help you improve yourself as a student.

All the sleepless nights are worth it and I hope I made my parents proud. I can't give much to them but being on the list is my pay back to the trust they gave me. Since they allowed me to be active in Lucid and through various activities.

Will I be back again next term? I don't know, hopefully! That's the goal again but I'll just go with the flow again, give it my best shot since it's the last term and the last for De La Salle Canlubang.

PS. Those people who are bashing ComArts students because they think that what we do is easy. Well, think again. You choose your course because that's the best course that suits for you. Bakit ako mag Eng'g kung alam ko naman mahina ako sa math? We have our own strengths and specialization and I took what's best for me and try to excel on it.

Video of the Week: Justin "Jet Li" Valles shoutout to Split Second Crew!

Justin "Jet Li" Valles had a dance workshop at All Star Dance School at Las Pinas. I wasn't able to attend his workshop but one of our crew member Edward Rustria who is also part of the Perpetual Street Dance had the opportunity to take his class.

When Edward told him that we performed in their dressing room when they had their mall tour at SM MOA, he remembered us! I mean, who woudn't? 2 guys doing stunts with little space given (check the last video), copying their moves and incorporating it in our routine? Nah, I'm just kidding! But, I'm glad they appreciate our work back then.

Poreotics is America's Best Dance Crew Season 5 winners. They are one of our favorite dance crews so when we learned that they are going to have series of mall shows and had a dance video competition to be their opening act, we grabbed the chance.

We didn't win the competition but there were good people who helped us (Tic Tic Pinas) and gave us the opportunity to meet, greet and perform for our idols.

It was May 8, 2011, we waited. The venue changed because it was raining. From the Music Atrium to the mall's lobby. It was like a convention of dancers! Then it was time to meet ABDC Season 5 Champs! We prepared a routine and presented it inside their dressing room. Yup, dressing room! We just had little space but we didn't mind, we didn't care if we didn't win but it was one of our groups best experience.

May 8 is a date we can never forget. I've seen Jabbawockeez perform (Btw, they'll be back w/ Super Crew here in the Philippines), some of my crewmates saw I.aM.mE, Quest Crew, but we didn't just see Poreotics perform, we've met them and it was something to remember. :)

I'm sorry if I'm making a big deal out of it. But when you're there and you're a fan of Poreotics and dancing, you'll just get overwhelmed and to know what we've been through as a group just to be in that position.
