"Voice of the People"

Vox Populi, DLSC 2012 Car Show and Band Fest. It was my first time to attend a car show and it did exceed my expectations with car shows and with cars! A mini cooper with an LCD TV and gaming console that plays Tekken, vintage cars (favorite Volks). To best the night, Holy Wars performing on stage and catching up with old friends!

ANIMO TEATRO BEHIND THE SCENES

Hello guys! It's been a while since my last blog! A blockmate of mine at DLS-CSB got me inspired to do blogging again! And guess what? I have my camera now! Still need to practice a little bit more. Sad news is my kit lens is broken already. So I'm using manual focus now. Some of my shots are blurred.

This is our last week of rehearsal for our play next week, March 26 and 27! Really missed acting on the stage! This time of the year last year our INTROTA (Introduction to Theater Arts)class was also rehearsing for our play! Thank you Animo Teatro for the opportunity to be here again and perform! Catch Threesome 2012 at the DLSC Auditorium, tickets are at 50php!

Again and yes, again.

I still haven’t seen her this term and one thing to tell you guys, I miss her so much. But the fact that things can’t be the same for now, I just have to ignore these feelings of wanting to see her and talk to her again without any regrets. Maybe it’s still not the time for us again…

They say, “If you guys are meant to be together, then it’s you two at the end” somehow, I can’t seem to believe in fate anymore. But a friend told me, if I really love her, I can endure anything and won’t really mind the hardships because that’s love.

One of the new year’s resolutions that I made was not to be emo-ish this new year and so far I’m failing to accomplish that. Haha! I’ve been reading the letter that was given on my birthday . There she explained things to made it more clear for me. I was reading it again yesterday, and felt depressed again.

Still the question in my head is WHY?

AGAIN, for the nth time… back to point blank, ground zero, to the starting line. I think I’ve been doing a good job on moving on, but somehow brings me back to the day 4 months ago, to the hardship of coping up with everyday thinking that things aren’t the same.

I’ll be okay again tomorrow, I know.

New Year Resolution, not!

Sa pag pasok ng 2012 isa lang ang nasa isip ko. Ikaw.

Wala pa rin na araw na lumilipas na hindi ikaw ang nasa isip ko. Walang gabi na hindi ako makatulog kasi tuwing ipipikit ko na ang mga mata ko, na aalala ko lahat ng magagandang alaala.

Ayoko makalimutan lahat kahit yung sakit na mga ngyari, dahil dito ko rin kinukuha ang mga nararamdaman ko na minsan umibig ako sa best friend ko. Ang sakit ang nag papaalala sakin na mahal pa rin kita.

Mahal na mahal at ibibigay ko lahat para lang bumalik sa mga alaalang yon. Siguro nga hindi pa ngayon, at kung sakali man… sana, maging tayo ulit at di na mag kahiwalay ulit.

Face to Face!

Face Negotiation Theory assumes that people of every culture are concerned with the presentation of their "face". As face is refers to one's self-image in the presence of others. It involves feelings of respect, honor, status and other similar values. Face for me is also your image/identity and how you will protect it from the impression of others. Yes, I agree because that different cultures and different perspective to "face" . With different cultures we have and different traits, one way or another there will be conflict but this must not be main concern just because we all differ from one another.

It's hard to choose which conflict-management style because it depends on the given situation but I think my styles are compromising, dominating and integrating. I usually take in ideas and then later share what I have in mind but when the situation goes tough and I what I think is right I stand firm to my ideas. As for integrating, when I have a solid basis, I usually share what I know to the group.

Preventive face work negotiation strategy because according to the group it "involves communication designed to protect a person from feelings that threaten personal or group face". Sometimes I try to think what the person will feel if I say or if I share something or ask for a favor.
